As we approach the end of this academic year and our 14th year of service towards providing quality education since our inspection in 1999, I like to take this opportunity to thank the Almighty Lord for his abundant blessings and guidance. We cannot forget the encouragement,support & guidance from our patrons, parents, students, teachers & our well wishers.

As I share the yearly updates of our activities, I would like to say that we have always been committed to create an environment in the school which helps the young minds to blossom & provide a platform for individual thinking & holistic development of the child's personality. We incorporated new and updated books to ensure that we don't compromise with the quality of education imparted.

Excellence in academics is the hall mark of any good institution and class X & XII results of the school prove without any doubt that our students have done us proud.

In class XII Juhi Mittal of commerce stream was the topper of the school securing 91.26% marks and Amandeep Singh of science stream secured 89.6% marks.

In class X, 7 students were awarded CGPA 10 by C.B.S.E Today we are awarding 523 prizes overall for A+ & A1 grades. 

I take this opportunity to congratulate the students for their excellent performance & warm wishes for a bright future ahead. 

In today's fiercely competitive scenarios being a book worm alone does not suffice. To help the students suffice and to help the students exhibit their multifarious talent. they are encouraged to participate in various external & internal competitions. Some of the internal competitions included intra class, inter class, inter house events like English, Hindi debate, declamation, extempore, creative writing, students participated in eassy writing competition held by C.B.S.E and also by SRCM & UNIC for India & Bhutan Bournvita Quiz held at Sherwood Nainital. Painting competition organized by Reliance and Camlin. Our students also participated in singing competition organized by Lok Rachna samiti & Talent Search Competition organised by Rudra Music academy. I would like to mention Madhav Sharma who bagged I position and Raghav Sharma who bagged II position. Our students also participated in the Patriotic group song Competition organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad at Bilaspur and stood II. Our students also participated in Sanskarshala organized by Dainik Jagran. 

We also participated in Ek Shaam Desh Ke Naam-Oraganised by SANSKAR BHARTI. 

Our students participated in National & International talent examination, which included NSO, IMO & IEO organized by SOF. 13 students qualified for the 2nd level of these Olympiads. 

Our students had the privilege to visit the Parle factory at SIDCUL. Other visits were to Sanjay-Van, Nainital etc. 

In the area of sports our students did us proud by participating and securing Positions at Cluster level, district level,State level & National level in different events. 

Our students participated & bagged 3rd place in C.B.S.E Athletics Cluster at Ghazibad. In T.T Distt Championship we got 2nd place. At C.B.S.E Roller Skating Cluster at Varansi 15 students participated in sub-junior, junior & senior Categories. In Athletics organized by Distt Sports authority our students won 2nd & 3rd prizes. 

Our students participated in C.B.S.E Basket ball Cluster held at Agra. 10 of our students have been selected for 25th National Yoga Chamionship. In karate Pooja Maurya won the 1st Gold medal for Uttarkhand in National Karate-do championship and was awarded the best player award at YMCA Sports Club. 

7 students won Gold, Silver & Bronze medal at state Karate championship held in Rudrapur. 

In AIKF National Karate championship 5 Boys & 4 Girls of our school participated and Shashwat Ahuja & Vikram Singh won Bronze Medals. 

We also organized a departmental exhibition 'The Panache' where our students made various working & Non working models in science,social science, Maths, English , Hindi, Sanskrit, Art & Craft. 

We celebrated many important days such as Republic Day,Independance Day, Teachers Day, Children's Day, Benediction, Christmas etc. We also organized a march against the Delhi Gangrape to make our students aware of their social responsibility. 

To ensure that our students are equipped to face any challenge, we have organized focused sessions on Career Counselling, Traffic rules etc. 

The students of our school have made the school proud by clearing different competitions and getting admissions in prestigious national & International institutions. 40 students have been selected at I.I.T, AIIMS and R.E.C and have proved that where there is a will there is a way. 

This year in the middle section we have also given due weightage to co-scholastic activities as is being done by C.B.S.E. in class 9 & 10 by upgrading the students in one or two subjects based on their co-scholastic activities. 

42 of our students are being awarded for regularity as they have attended the school on each working day i.e. 100% attendance. 1650 prizes are being awarded today for Co-curricular actvities. 

Many Milestones have been achieved and many still have to be reached, We at HCS will continue our unceasing efforts to mould the young minds into well balanced personalities with a confidence & zeal befitting the standards of this portal of education. We express our sincere thanks to all our students, parents, well wishers & patrons of our school for all the support extended.
